Grant by Katherine Enfield of Hadley in the county of Suffolk, widow, late the wife of John Enfield, late of Polsted in the said county, deceased, and Matthew Enfield of Hadleigh aforesaid, millwright, son of the said John, to Henry Alston of Polsted, clothier, for 40s. in hand and a further sum of £53 15s. of 2 messuages with their appurtenances in Polsted aforesaid, between the land now or late of William Enfield, sometime of William Armyns, on the north, and a tenement of John Smythes on the south, one head abutting upon the highway leading from Shelley to Polsted Churche to the east now in the occupation of Edward Goffe or his assigns. Endorsed with note of payment of outstanding money witnessd by Francis Andrew, Edward Salter, and James Church.
